Jans & Roth is founded in Offenbach near Frankfurt. The new company manufactures suitcase fittings.

Jans & Heinsdorf - a producer of furniture fittings - is founded.

The company changes its name to JADO.

JADO expands through the acquisition of Wils&Co. (WICO), a producer of bathroom fixtures. The company also founds branches throughout Europe.

The company is converted into a public limited company. The sanitary division merges with the fittings division under the JADO name.

American Standard becomes JADO's largest shareholder.

JADO acquires the Danish company Boerma, a manufacturer of faucets.

The company is converted into a limited liability company.

The JADO brand of luxury faucets is completely integrated into Ideal Standard.

JADO is wholly owned by Ideal Standard International.
